Bushwhacked! is an independent comic and animation universe born out of a love for rugged backcountry wilderness, classic Saturday morning cartoons, and old-school indie comic books.

Created by real-life siblings The Burgy Brothers (Bud & Fud), this project combines two unique backgrounds into a single storytelling force. Fud draws from his years working deep in the wilderness with the U.S. Forest Service, infusing authentic outdoor lore, backwoods humor, and eccentric characters straight into the scripts. Bud brings the world to life on the pages, channeling a lifetime of passion as a dedicated doodler inspired by the golden era of hand-drawn animation and classic newspaper comic strips.

Together, they build handcrafted, timeless adventures following Meatfist, Gronk and Dynamite Mule as they survive steep cliffs, gnarly trails, and the unpredictable local wildlife.
